The second, Peaceful Prairielands, reflects the grace and subtle beauty of the Colorado plains with the melody in the left hand and harmonies in the right hand. Snowstorm! is in 6/8 meter. It features a descending right hand chromatic scale, portraying the falling snow or perhaps an avalanche.
